Time for New Blood

Kay Granger has been Representative for District 12 for 14 years. Do you believe in career politicians? I don't. Time for Kay to go!

Representative Granger has consistently voted against the interest of middle class and poorer Americans in favor of policies that resulted in the economic crisis that we are now all experiencing.

Priorities

Jobs: Both public and private sectors need to work together to create jobs for Americans

Education: While I believe there is a case to be made for national standards, the current system of testing is preventing teachers from doing their jobs

Goal

Repeal the WEP/GPO

Teachers are being cheated out of their retirement income

How does this happen?

                                              A provision of the Social Security
                                              Act has denied teachers and other
                                              public employees their Social Security
                                              benefits despite lifelong contributions.

What Kay Says

Kay Granger endorsed Mitt Romney saying that we (she and Mitt?) need to restore our standing in the world? What does that mean? Our standing in the world right now is greater than at any time since 9-11. Where do they come up with this stuff? George Bush's go it alone, we don't need anybody policies destroyed respect for our country world wide. Under President Obama we're getting it back.

Day 1. Kay Granger votes to raise taxes on 160 million Americans, cut unemployment insurance and lower medicare payments to Drs. Tell me how in any way shape or form this benefits the middle class or helps create jobs or shows any compassion for poorer folks. Way to go Kay!

Several Days later. Republicans are lambasted all over the country for failure to pass the senate bill extending the payroll cuts, continuing unemployment insurance and current rates of pay for medicare doctors. The Republican leadership then changes its mind and calls on House Republicans to APPROVE the bill, doing a complete 180 on their previous vote. Not only do they pass the bill, but they do so by unanimous consent. So, first Rep. Granger votes against the bill, then for it. Does she not have a mind of her own, or does she blindingly do what her party tells her to do? If I'm elected you won't get this kind of leadership.
